Gyalsein took us on a temple tour of Kathmandu and it was fascinating. We entered the oldest Sikh temple, called Pashupatinath. While there we saw lots of smoke and later found out that they were cremating the dead on funeral pires. The bodies were burned with incense to get rid of the smell. Thick acrid smell which really got up your nose.
