After the jade jewellers we drove to just outside Xi’an. A huge area. Pit one, which was the original site, found by a farmer digging a well, six metres down. What a find and he got paid 30 rmb, in 1970. The equivalent of £3.00 sterling.                 

Started at a stunningly named Small Goose Pagoda. 13 storeys, set in a fantastic park area. Then to a jade jewellers.             

After a good nights sleep I’m ready for the second most exciting tour. Just outside Xi’an is the excavation site of the Teracotta Army. Can’t wait. I’ll check in later. Bye for now.
